Immerse yourself in the landscapes and traditions of southern China with this 6-day cultural adventure through Guilin, Longji, and Yangshuo. Your journey starts among the famous Longji Rice Terraces, where you’ll stroll through hillside fields and visit local minority villages to experience their unique customs and daily life.
Continue to Guilin, where you’ll board a scenic Li River cruise to Yangshuo, witnessing dramatic karst mountains and stunning riverside views along the way. In Yangshuo, explore the picturesque countryside by bike or on foot, hike up Moon Hill for panoramic vistas, and try bamboo rafting on the tranquil Yulong River.
Discover the magical world inside Silver Cave and enjoy comfortable, carefully selected hotels each night. Throughout your trip, you’ll be guided by an experienced English-speaking guide, with all main entrance fees and convenient private transfers included. This tour is a perfect blend of culture, relaxation, and natural beauty for anyone wanting an authentic China experience.

In the morning visit Jingjiang Prince’s Palace, located on the west bank of Li River, this best preserved Prince’s city of China was built between 1371 and 1391 AD in the Ming Dynasty. After that, drive to visit Elephant Trunk Hill, you can easily find its resemblance to a giant elephant drinking water from Li River. Continue to drive to Shan Lake, watch Sun and Moon Pagodas from afar. Taste Guilin Rice noodles-local’s everyday breakfast!
After lunch, drive 15km outside of the city to Dongli Village. Many traditional handicrafts of Guangxi are well preserved here, you can watch weaving cloth, making wine, planting dyeing, and also find blacksmith and bamboo workshop.
This morning transfer to take on a cruise to travel along Li River from Guilin to Yangshuo, it’s around 4 hours ride(9:30-13:30). Upon arrival, drive to West Street in Yangshuo ancient town, the street is about 8 meters wide and nearly 800 meters long, it is the oldest and most prosperous street in Yangshuo, lots of ancient buildings are well preserved here.
After breakfast, drive and enjoy beautiful views along Yulong River. Stop by the Banyan Tree Park, the tree is 17 meters high and 1400 years old. Continue to drive and appreciate Moon Hill from different angles. In the afternoon, we will join a cooking class. You will go to local market together with the teacher, later learn and cook guangxi cuisine together.
Drive 8km to Fuli Ancient Town, it is well known as the hometown of painted paper fans. At a workshop, we will learn and make the fan by yourselves. The rest of time we can drive and explore the village around, feeling the atmosphere of rural life.

Dawei | Tour guide / operator
Dawei is a Tibetan Buddhist, and comes from the most north edge of the Tibetan plateau in Qinghai province, Western China. He has travelled as a tour leader to many South Asian countries such as India, Bhutan and also nearly the entire country of China. He focuse especially on guiding in Qinghai, Gansu, Sichuan, Ningxia provinces and Tibetan regions. The activities of these various tour groups have included adopting family, horse racing, hiking, bird watching, cycling, camping, overseas students, cultural and religious sightseeing.
Andrew | Touir guide / operator
Andrew was born and grew up in a small village of Zhangjiajie, Hunan. From 2009-2012 he works for royal Caribbean International cruise as an onboard guest services officer. After that, he dedicates his life/time to guiding and operating tours in Zhangjiajie and around. As a native person, he knows all the corner of the scenic area, such as good restaurants, souvenir shops and cultures. He is very experienced and super flexible, he knows how to avoid the crowds and take advantage of the weather and offer the best travel experience to customers, all you need to do is just relax and enjoy!
